I never heard of Huacachina before this trip. When I travel, I tent to book activists without doing much research, I like to be surprised. This was definitely a surprising fun adventure.

While traveling through a sandstorm, the tour bus did break down in the middle of the desert in Peru. That added to the excitement. We got a replacement vehicle in about 45 minutes (Three 15 passengers vans).

The dune buggy ride was crazy fun, a little scary but a lot of adrenaline excitement. Fun Fun Fun... Definitely an awesome experience you will always remember.

Hight recommend visiting Huacachina and all its fun activities.

Huacachina is a desert oasis and tiny village just west of the city of Ica in southwestern Peru. At its center are the green waters of the Huacachina Lagoon, ringed by palm trees and thought to have therapeutic properties. The lagoon's shores are dotted with bars and clubs. Dune buggies run across the high, rolling sand dunes surrounding the village.
